So Lovely To Be Here

Ahem... Tap, tap... Is this thing on? Can you hear me in the back?

I've decided to start blogging again. I had a blog for 3 years, back in the day, and I miss it. I'm not sure who's going to read this, but I need an outlet. I am, by nature, a talker and that's kinda limited in the situation I find myself in.

I intend to write about whatever is on my mind. The first post is the hardest, so that's why this one is going to be short and pretty pointless. Just a brief introduction.

I'm Kelly. I am married to a wonderful and complicated man. We are getting old quickly (36 and 37). We have a beautiful, precious daughter. I would love to have more children and we're checking into adoption. Finances are tight, though... I know everyone's are tight, but we had a lovely, frivolous lifestyle 3 years ago and we've had to make a huge change. We're still blessed but sometimes I have to make an effort to remember it. We are followers of Christ; forgiven but not perfect, for sure!

Reading is like breathing to me and I get antsy if I haven't lost myself in a new story in a while. I love being creative and so I sew, bake, do all kinds of craftsy things. I love theater. I want to travel the world. I have a lot of education, but I try to keep my country girl's common sense. I dream big.

So that's me in a nutshell.
